Our mini-camping has been open since July 2015 and offers space for 25 camping spots. The campsite is landscaped in a rural area. Our guests are especially cycling enthusiasts, hikers and peace seekers. You can safely enjoy this beautiful environment for a longer period, but we have no seasonal spots. At our campsite you can choose your own place and stand as you wish, provided that your fellow camper is taken into account. The nights here are still really dark, so there is often a beautiful starry sky. If you still want to sit together and cozy together in colder or rainy weather, then this is possible in our lounge. Here you will find chairs, a sofa, etc. that can be used by the guests. The present cupboard contains books, magazines and games; but also a lot of leaflet material, walking and cycling routes. We offer 6 amps of electricity as standard, but we can also offer you 16 amps for an additional charge. WiFi will be available from (mid-April) 2020! Camping De Wedze is located in a characteristic backstage landscape with a view of a church tower from the 13th century. The village of Twijzel is located in Friesland on the line Leeuwarden-Groningen and can be reached within 15 minutes from the A7 (Drachten). Twijzel is a small village, near Buitenpost. It is located between Leeuwarden (21 km) and Groningen (35 km), both cities are therefore easily accessible. The beautiful 11-city town of Dokkum is also nearby (17 km). You will find the general facilities in the surrounding villages such as Buitenpost, Kollum and Zwaagwesteinde.

Cozy campsite. The rural site of the campsite is with the front in the village of Lottum, near a bakery. At the back it borders on a nature reserve of Limburg Landscape with the Maas behind it. The campsite offers 25 spacious pitches between mixed hedges and standard fruit on 2 ha of land spread over 6 fields. There is a fire pit, tennis court, recreation room, old greenhouse with seating areas, special gardens, go-karts and play equipment, rabbits and chickens.

Camping Idyllis located in the south of Hungary on the edge of the idyllic village of Nagyváty. The campsite is accessible via road number 6, which runs between the two historic towns of Pécs and Szigetvár, near the Croatian border. The exit is well marked,after 2.5 km you arrive in the village. The former manor farm, with many fruit and nut trees, a well and large pond with several ducks species, is located in an oasis of peace on a 2.8 ha beautiful nature. The site has a 27 tourist pitches with electricity, a trekkersveld for approximately 10 tents and clean toilets. By choosing a holiday on our campsite, you will travel to an area that is rich in culture and unspoiled nature. You will get the chance to see the environment and its inhabitants from up close to know its location on the edge of the village. Camping Idyll, you will find no lovers of mass tourism, but pure pleasure. We, your Dutch host and my Afrikaans-Dutch woman, like to offer you a personal service and can you point the way to the unknown hinterland, and if you want a lot of things for you. Furthermore, we give our guests the feeling of being “free” and “coming home.”It is our strive as much as possible to the campsite in a natural and environmentally friendly way to maintain. There is a cozy, welcoming and homely atmosphere in the camp. There is a lot of talk and laughter. This atmosphere creates space to de-stress, to relax and enjoy a carefree holiday and offers space and time for yourself and for each other. Here one is reminded of the origin of existence and you can enjoy the wealth that nature provides to rediscover. If you want to go with a “suitcase” full of cultural experiences to the home. Birkelund camping

Birkelund camping is an excellent and natural point of departure whether you want to climb, mountain bike, go on fishing trips or just want to go for relaxing walks in an unspoilt and breathtaking nature. You can use Birkelund camping as a base for various tours by car, motorbike or bicycle. Many of the guests spend their time fishing in the river (Storåni) where fish are abundant. The best deep pool is only 500 m from the camping site. Birkelund camping is situated in an ancient cultural landscape telling you about old agricultural traditions and mountain dairy farming. You can still find mountain dairy farming along Fv.50 with large flocks of goats, and farms where you can buy the local brown cheese made of goat milk and taste the different local traditional dishes made at the mountain dairy farm. In Hallingdal there are a lot of examples showing how houses where build and decorated in the old days. In local museums or old private well-preserved farms, you’ll find old everyday objects decorated in an elaborated style, both painted and carved. You can also enjoy winter sports in Hovet ( 3 km), Hol ( 3 km), Sudndalen (10 km), Geilo (15 km), Ål (25 km) and Gol (50 km). You can experience all this and much more if you stay at Birkelund camping. Dogs are, provided that they are on a lead, welcome on Birkelund camping. Birkelund camping is open throughout the year.

Hammarstrands Camping

Does it seem to you to wake up with silence and singing ... then you are lucky because every morning at Hammarstrands camping!   Our campsite is beautifully situated in the middle of nature and has a beautiful view over the Indalsälven, which offers you the peace and the proximity of nature. The campsite is beautifully situated in the valley between Östersund and Sundsvall along the Indalsläven. It is about an hour's drive in both directions on the Indals members.   Hammarstrands campsite has 30 camping pitches with electricity. At the campsite we also have several stuga's four persons and two person stuga's to rent these are for rent for 1 night or for a longer period of time. A little further on about 100 meters we have a 4 person villa / cabin for rent On the campsite there are several water tap points. The entire campsite is well lit. The heated service house has just been renovated, clean and beautiful. There you will find toilets, showers, disabled toilet and shower, fully equipped kitchen with dining facilities and washing up, washer and dryer, landfill for your toilet and water tap point for filling the water tank of the camper / caravan. The showers are free, spacious and wonderfully warm.   At the reception there is a café where you can get a fika (coffee with some goodies). We have different types of pastries, packaged ice cream, real Swedish ice cream made with wind energy. If you want to eat then we have small dishes such as sandwiches, various sandwiches and also the real Dutch croquette and frikandel is for sale in the café and even more small dishes. For dinner we also serve meals that you can eat with us or take with you to your camping equipment. Breakfast can be ordered one day in advance for breakfast. But also think of a well-filled breakfast basket that we come to deliver to you, also for larger groups a breakfast buffet can be provided. Adjacent to the campsite there is a heated swimming pool. It is free for everyone to swim in. If you prefer to swim in the river, there is a beach a short distance away. In Hammerstrand you will find everything you need, such as 2 supermarkets, bank, ATM, gas station, pharmacy, health center, dentist, liquor store, pet store, do it yourself, garage, pizzeria and several restaurants. Dogs are welcome but on the leash, at the campsite there is also a possibility to let the dog swim or to swim with the dog. In the future a dog play field will be built at the campsite where the dogs can run free and play with each other. We are open all year and you can book a winter or summer season with us.
